EPCS Curriculum

EPCS uses a child-centered classroom approach to learning. The EPCS curriculum allows each student to obtain a strong foundation. Our structured classes and an extensive advisory system allow us to offer individual attention to each student as they master a rigorous program. EPCS is committed to educating the whole person, to fostering a deep love of learning, and to preparing our students to contribute to a changing and challenging world.

EPCS uses the MyView program for grades K-5 and the Collections program for grades 6-8 to teach the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in English language arts (ELA). Students can log in to the online textbook by logging in to their Clever account.

Students in grades 3-8 also use the New Jersey Performance Coach workbooks for extra practice with the standards to prepare for the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA) which is the state-wide standardized test. 

EPCS uses the Illustrative Mathematics program to teach the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in math. Students can log in to the online textbook by logging in to their Clever account.

EPCS uses the MyWorld program for grades K-5 and the United States History and World Civilization programs from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for grades 6-8 to teach the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in Social Studies (SS). Students can log in to the online textbook by logging in to their Clever account.
